I'd like to see Fred Eerdekens do an installation of that quote. Or maybe that would be too predictable? In this modern age, Eerdekens is taking Magritte's "Ceci n'est pas une pipe" to a whole new level. What is a word? What is an image? What is the image/text? How do we read something like this? And perhaps most importantly, where are the instructions for a do-it-myself version? I would love something like this in my living room!
